From 45,000 to over 450,000 square feet, since April 1st
1979 the current owner Marv Erickson
purchased this general plant nursery. Customers loved all
of our products, but they loved our hanging fern baskets
most. We soon started concentrating on ferns. As our
nursery grew we started developing a fern which we call a
King Compacta. This variation of a Boston Compacta is much
larger, covers the pot and stays full on top. Our
customers loved it, and sales have been great. Over 30
years later we still concentrate on fern baskets with
attention to quality that can only come from years of
experience.
